Rtn Sudhir Lature is a distinguished member of the Rotary Club of Latur
Midtown. After completing his Mechanical Engineering education, he joined
the family business, which specializes in MS fabrication. Alongside likeminded friends, he started Vishwa Super Market, a self-service retail outlet,and Vishwa Travels, a luxury bus service. He also gained experience in FMCG distribution, working with companies like Parle Products Ltd and Hindustan Lever Ltd.
Sudhir Lature invited the Rotary Club of Latur Midtown and served as the club President in 2013-14. During his presidential tenure, he increased the membership from 61 to 95, and under his leadership, the club achieved several accolades. They were awarded the overall best club in the district trophy, as well as the best child healthcare 1st trophy and the best water management 1st trophy. Throughout his Rotary career, Sudhir served in various positions within the Rotary District. He held roles such as Assistant Governor and District Director in areas like new club extension, the Rotary Foundation, Membership Development, and International Service. He also served as the District Secretary, overseeing TRF Conferences, Publications, and DG visits. Additionally, he served as the chair of the District Stewardship Committee. Sudhir received recognition for his contributions, including the Best AG 1st trophy, Best Avenue Director 1st trophy, and Best District Secretary 2nd trophy. He also achieved the prestigious Rotary International recognition Club Builder Award. Sudhir is recognized as a TRF Major Donor Level 1 recipient. In addition to this, Sudhir serves on the National Committee Member of the E-Learning Committee of RILM (Rotary India Literacy Mission). He is also serving as Director of the prestigious Latur Co-operative Industrial Estate Society.

Sudhir Lature happily lives in a joint family with his mother, father, and two brothers, Uday and Prakash. The entire family actively participates in various social activities. His spouse, Sangeeta, is a homemaker. He has two sons - Aaditya, who is a BTech civil engineer and supports him in his business, and Ajinkya, who is currently schooling . Due to his extensive contributions and leadership within Rotary, Sudhir has been nominated as the District Governor for the year 2025-26 and has been elected unopposed.
