A Free Eye Check-up and Free Cataract Surgery Camp
A Free Eye Check-up and Free Cataract Surgery Camp was jointly organised by Rotary Club Akluj and Rukmini Hospital with the objective of promoting eye health and providing accessible medical care to the community.The camp witnessed an encouraging response from the public, with a total of 252 beneficiaries availing themselves of free eye examinations conducted by a team of experienced ophthalmologists and medical staff. Comprehensive eye screening was carried out to detect vision-related problems, including cataract and other common eye disorders.During the medical assessment, 65 patients were diagnosed as requiring immediate cataract surgery. These patients were identified for free cataract surgery, ensuring timely treatment and preventing further vision impairment. Necessary guidance, counselling, and follow-up procedures were also explained to the patients and their families.
