Organic Jaggery Manufacturing unit of Jaivik Indus
The visit provided Rotarians with an opportunity to observe an inspiring initiative that reflects the journey from traditional agriculture to modern rural entrepreneurship. The project follows a pure, chemical-free and sustainable method of producing organic jaggery, maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene and environmental responsibility.During the visit, members gained valuable insights into the concept, production process and the social impact of the project, which promotes organic farming and value-added agricultural products using locally available resources.The importance of organic products was also highlighted during the visit. Organic jaggery is free from harmful chemicals and preservatives, making it healthier for consumers and safer for farmers and the environment. Organic farming practices help improve soil fertility, protect biodiversity and support sustainable agriculture for future generations.
