Cancer Awareness Seminar for Girls
Under its commitment towards community health and women empowerment, Rotary Club of Akluj, in association with the Gynecological Association, successfully organized a Cancer Awareness Seminar for girl students at S.B. Patil College, Akluj.
The seminar witnessed an enthusiastic participation of around 200 girl students, who attended the session with great interest and involvement. The program focused on creating awareness about cancers affecting women, especially breast cancer and cervical cancer. Expert gynecologists guided the students on early warning signs, preventive measures, importance of regular health check-ups, menstrual hygiene, HPV vaccination, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.The session was highly interactive, with students actively asking questions and clearing their doubts. The speakers emphasized that awareness, early detection, and timely medical consultation play a crucial role in saving lives.
